Norma C. Cowart, PA-C is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. She grew up in Beaumont, and has lived in Austin since 2007. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 1986 from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, where she graduated with high honors and received an award for clinical excellence.
As a Physician Assistant, Norma evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients, and works closely with both Dr. Booton and Dr. Vandel. Norma feels strongly that a good provider/patient relationship is the key to providing successful management and treatment of disease and as such, she strives to have consistent and open communication with her patients.
Norma is married to John Cowart and has three children (Jacob, Jordan, and Maggie). She finds fulfillment in volunteering her time to the church and the community. She loves to travel and spend time with her family.
